This photo was taken on August 15, 2020 at 8:04PM. Today was stormy in a different way. We learned that Rico Cat has a tumor that is not treatable. Emotions ran high.
Another one from the archives. Three days in a row now. Maybe I'll just get some of these old phone snaps out of my system.
From the archives... again. 😃 This was taken after a dentist visit last summer.
Well, today was such a busy day that I neglected to take a photo. So here is a cell phone snap at a red light from a few weeks back.
Almost missed today's post... it's been a busy day, I lost track of time. So I grabbed my camera quickly at 10:30PM, got down on the ground in the livingroom and snapped this with a telephoto lens which was still on the camera from yesterday's post. ISO 6400.
This little guy was having his morning groom in our maple tree.
A little rusty, but still good.
This little tricycle comes with a boxful of memories.
I hope winter ends soon. I used to love it, but now it's all about dry hands, cracked skin and having lost 23% of my body weight, I'm always. friggin. cold.
These keys need some cleaning.
We got a good dumping of snow last night.
Spent the first 3.5 hours of Family Day 2021 on this cross-stitch project with John. It was a bit frustrating at first, mostly because I have never done this sort of thing before. Now I have all sorts of ideas in my head... 🐳
This photoshoot with Franz was John's idea - and I once again had some help with the processing. Thank you John! 😃
Today's photo was processed/posted by John. 😎
Another day, another unique landscape found at the beach. Today's journey was a cold one but we made it all the way down to Nikki's favourite tree which looked like it was wrapped in a towel, as John put it.
A quick snap from the back porch using a telephoto lens.
The tulips are made of wood, so they'll last forever. The daisies don't know this and are trying to keep up... they've been hanging on for a good 3 weeks at least.
I call it the Fizzbush anyway. Others call it a Boxwood Tree. It's actually not a fizz... it's more like a crackle. In the spring time if you put your ear up to this tree/shrub, you'll hear it crackling. That is because of the late-stage larvae of the boxwood leafminer ravenously feasting on the leaves. Google it! Fascinating stuff.
Got a spiffy new strap for the Stowa today. I quite like it.
The sun came out for my brother's birthday. Happy birthday Sanyi! 🍰 🎈
