Last year we started a tradition of dressing Peanut up for Halloween. This year the tradition continues. There's nothing like when you walk in the house at 11:30pm and a dog in a butterfly outfit runs at you barking...

My mom's actual birthday is today. Born in 59. Happy birthday mom! Wishing you many many more!

For my mom's birthday, we surprised her with the blue VW Beetle she's been coveting for years. Here are some photos from the dinner party last night. Once she figured out that she was holding the keys to a car--which took a few minutes because the key's all fancy-like (well fancier than any key she's ever had to deal with)--she was very excited. :)
